We have a highly experienced team to look after you and plan your celebrations, but also your visits to the souks of Marrakech or perhaps to the mountains. Our highly experienced chefs will work with you to plan your meals and catering.

Marrakech, the Moroccan city at the foot of the High Atlas mountains, brings together European cultures, Arabian cultures and Africa in a colourful time warp. This is the perfect place to have a unique wedding! March and October is the finest months to get married in Marrakech; no worries about the nights being too cold where temperatures will remain in the 30’s all night; no worries about rain and storm.
When planning the wedding, a weekend long event would be ideal. Then the families could gather on a Friday night to meet and dine together; the next day there would be a wedding ceremony and then a long fiesta stretching into the night; the day after they would invite all the guests back for another relaxed event around pools and with a brunch; this would be a family event with lots of games and fun for the younger kids.
Morocco is the perfect destination to choose for a wedding. It combines the romance of the desert, the grandeur of the mountains, the mystique of the orient with great weather, gloriously colourful setting and romantic Moroccan buildings.
DarJL or Domaine DarJL (the JL being the initials of the owners and dar being a name like ‘manor’ or ‘estate’) is an oasis of green grandeur, of lush palms, bougainvillea, clematis, roses, herb gardens.
DarJL has 11 bedrooms in four different buildings…. there is a villa of master suite and three en-suite bedrooms; another of four suites; a tower with views over the High Atlas and two bedrooms and then a studio apartment overlooking a wide waterfall supplied pool, maybe a place for one of the wedding parties?

DarJL could supply all the ingredients for the parties. We have our own fine kitchen with chefs trained in Morocco and France. The chefs have experience of many past parties and how to create a romantic atmosphere; how to set a wedding ceremony in the olive groves and citrus orchards; how to create a bridal entrance that would be the pinnacle of any bride’s dreams.
